January Third Thursday Theater

Got Theater? Come indulge in reading and discussing plays at The Center. No pressure, no commitment, no ticket. Bring a snack and/or libation and settle in for interaction – and an opportunity to explore plays, both new and old, in a comfortable setting.

Third Thursday Theater will meet at 7 p.m. the third Thursday of each month in The BASF Planetarium at The Center for the Arts and Sciences.

Look Homeward, Angel is a drama by Ketti Frings, based on Thomas Wolfe’s novel of the same title and set in North Carolina where Wolfe grew up. It is a coming of age story that examines the relationships among the four family members in the years of World War I.

Third Thursday Theater welcomes adults interested in play reading and discussion. One of our goals is to find plays we can recommend for full production as part of a future Center Stages’ season.
