CALL TO ORDER: The April 4, 2006 meeting of the Sea Shell Searchers was called to order by President Steven
Coker. Members were welcomed.
SECRETARY’S REPORT: The minutes of the March meeting were approved as mailed in newsletter.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Wayne Humbird reported a balance. Motion made by Craig Latimer, second by Cliff
Harris to approve treasurer’s report. Motion passed.

Frank Petway made a motion, seconded by Cliff Harris that nominations cease. Motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Video was sent to the club by the Soholton Cave Society in the Philippines. A request for a donation was made
by the society. Craig Latimer made a motion, second by Rusti Stover to send the group $25. Motion passed.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
1.
Wayne Humbird, Brazosport Museum of Natural Science president, showed the club the new educational
portal made possible through a Dow community grant.
2.
Wayne Humbird, shell club member, reported on his experience visiting the Belgium Shell Club meeting.
3.
Wayne Humbird, Brazoria County Fair Sea & Shore Chairman, has cases available at the fair.
DOOR PRIZES won by Freida White, Julie Liebig, Dave Barziza, R.L. Norris, Patty Humbird.
