Need an excuse to go to the beach? The Sea Shell Searchers of Brazoria County invites you to join them for beach cleanup and a picnic at Quintana State Park (near Freeport) on Saturday, August 29. Participants will start gathering around 2:00 p.m. and may stay as long as they want. You will need to take your own food and drinks. The air conditioned building will be available for everyone to use. If you don’t want to clean the beach, take a game to play. Join the fun! Who knows you might find a great shell while you are picking up trash!
