Art Market & Silent Auction for Habitat

The Art League, with its 170 members and artists, showcases internationally recognized artists as well as regional and local talent in ten annual shows in The Center’s Gallery. Satellite galleries, with rotating exhibits, are also found throughout the community. League members meet regularly for workshops, demonstrations, and life drawing classes. Children are also inspired and encouraged through workshops, classes, competitions and scholarships.

An opportunity for members to learn from each other while working on their own projects in varied media. These fun & casual sessions are very helpful for beginners, and everyone 18 and older is welcome. Come three times as a guest; membership required thereafter. Teen Studio Time • Wednesdays • 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Class fees are $60 per semester, which includes all supplies. This program is open to all teens ages 13-18, with the additional purchase of a Brazosport Art League Student Membership for $10. We will work individually as well as in group projects, in the following mediums: ink, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, textile art, clay, print-making, glass mosaic, copper and metal work and hopefully graphic art & photography. We also have an impressive line-up of artists with expertise in varying techniques and mediums, that are excited to work with you. We finish our year with the exhibit in the Gallery in June 2020.
TEEN STUDIO TIME 2
Teen Studio Time teens, and those with art experience in multiple mediums, we offer Teen Studio 2 on Mondays, 3:30 – 5:30 pm. 2019 Fall semester classes meet Monday, Sept. 9 through Dec. 9. You must have Teen Studio Time instructor recommendation to join this class. To obtain Teen Studio Instructor recommendation, please contact Kerye Hartzell 405-596-9223.
Kids Studio Time – November 23, December 28 • 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Children 6-12 years old, with an adult.
Arrange colorful glass pieces on a canvas and then pour on resin. No glue, no grout, no skills needed. Art will be ready for pick up in 24 hours. Appetizers and bottled water provided. There is a class fee and a supply fee determined by the size of your piece.

12×24 – additional $30
16×20 – additional $30
Additional fee payable when you come to class with cash, check or card.
For beginners on up. All painting supplies, instruction, 16×20 mat are included. Appetizers and bottled water provided.
