Come and Play!

First Tuesday of every month

11:00  a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Special play based activities in the Museum featuring educational games and books. Located in the children’s area. Free event and open to the public. All ages welcome.

An adult must accompany children for the duration of the event.


Sunday Science Fun!

Second Sunday of every month

2:00 p.m.

Each month a different science or math concept will be featured. Located in the children’s area. Free event and open to the public. All ages welcome.

Open House!

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Come explore Brazosport Museum of Natural Science’s exhibits and hear Texas artist George Nelson review the history of the Alamo from its inception as Mission San Antonio de Valero in 1718 through the early 20th century.

Through maps and artistic “bird’s eye view” illustrations, Nelson reveals the development of Texas’ favorite historic landmark.
Open House begins at 2 PM and the speaker will present his program at 2:30 PM so visitors can explore the Museum’s exhibits.
