2/17 UPDATE:
Once the existing reservations have been filled, any remaining seats will be released for sale to the general public. BSO will follow Brazosport College’s guidelines for social distancing and masking, and additional details regarding these requirements will be shared in the near future.
Please note that those who had reserved seats for the 2019-2020 season at The Clarion most likely will NOT be able to sit in the same seats this spring. Rest assured that your information from last season is still on record and your old reservations will still be in place when social distancing requirements are lifted.
Please make note of the Spring 2021 concert dates below (January and May concert dates have changed):
February 20, 2021 “Christmas in February” – It may be unconventional to recognize St. Valentine one weekend and St. Nicholas the next, but these are unconventional times. (Be sure to wear your ugly Christmas sweater or holiday attire!) Buy Tickets Now!
March 27, 2021 “Bach at the Clarion” – It’s good to be Bach!
May 15, 2021 “Young Artists Concert” – Several winners of the 2020 Whit Phillips Memorial Young Artist Competition, along with the winning piece from the 2020-2021 BSO Composition Contest.
The Clarion has a new air treatment system complete with an ultraviolet light process, social distancing guidelines and enhanced cleaning protocols in place. All performers and attendees will be required to complete Brazosport College’s online COVID-19 Health Screening Questionnaire before each rehearsal and concert. All concert attendees will be required to wear masks AT ALL TIMES while inside The Clarion. College-provided ushers and security personnel will enforce this rule and address any compliance issues that may arise. Brazosport College shares our commitment to health and safety, and we feel confident that we can safely return to The Clarion.
Thank you for your continued support and flexibility.
Paula Matzke – BSO Council President
