The primary purpose of the Sea Shell Searchers of Brazoria County, a not for profit organization, is to provide educational opportunities for the scientific study and conservation of molluscs and other related fields.

Next meeting Sept 2nd 7:00 PM at Museum of Natural Science 400 College Dr Clute, Tx Program is COA 2003. Members are asked to bring a covered dish to share.

Important events coming up

Club Picnic at Quintana Beach The annual picnic will be held Aug 23rd at the park in Quintana. We have the main building so come on out and join us for hot dogs and beach cleaning. We will start at 2:00 and eat at 4 PM. We will then clean the beach afterwards when its cooler. Club will provide hot dogs and drinks. Please bring chips or other dishes to share as desired.
Seashell Auction The annual auction will be held at the art studio Sept 20th starting at 12:00 noon. 1st silent auction at 12:15 with 1st oral at 1:00 PM. Snacks will be provided. Members can bring a dessert or salad if they desire. If you would like to donate to the auction, see Wayne or Wanda.
Sea & Shore Brazoria County Fair Fair is Oct 10-18th. Entries for Sea & Shore due Oct 4th. See Wayne for more details. He has a few cases left.
