Teens ages 13 – 18 are invited to join instructor Mary Chauvel in Brazosport Art League studio for the weekly Teen Studio Time. Session 1 meets from 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM. Working individually as well as in groups, the class will work in multiple mediums, such as oil and acrylic paint, watercolor, pastels, stained glass mosaic, ink, pencil, and charcoal drawing, clay, printmaking. We also have an impressive line-up of guest instructors with expertise in varying techniques and mediums. CLASS FEE: $110 per semester, all supplies included. A $10 BAL junior membership is also required and must be purchased BEFORE registering for the class. Students will investigate a wide range of media and techniques as they engage in the art-making process of creating two-dimensional works, which may include drawing, painting, printmaking, and/or collage.
