Teen Studio Fall 2021 Semester Sept. 7, 2021 - Dec. 14, 2021.  No class Nov. 23 (Thanksgiving week) $60 class fee plus $10 BAL Junior membership fee (good for one year) Class limit; 16 students per session Click here to become a member. Teens ages 13-18 are invited to join instructors Linda Strickland and Mark Cameron in Brazosport Art League Studio for Teen Studio Time.  We offer two class times for your scheduling convenience.  Both classes are the same.  Teen Studio 1 meets Tuesdays, 1:30—3:30 and Teen Studio 2 meets Tuesdays, 4:00—6:00pm.  Fall 2021 semester meets Sept. 7—Dec. 14. No class Thanksgiving week, Nov. 23.  All art supplies are included in class fee. Working individually as well as in group projects, we’ll put the Elements and Principles of Art into practice using the following mediums: ink, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, textile art, clay, print-making, glass mosaic, copper and metal work, found object sculpture.  We also have an impressive line-up of artists with expertise in varying techniques and mediums, that are excited to work with you.  We finish our year with the exhibit in the Gallery in June 2022.

ART is FUN! This class teaches the 7 Elements of Art %5BLine-Color-Shape-Space-Texture-Value-Form%5D, creative expression with a variety of drawing and  painting techniques %5Bi.e., pencil, colored pencils, pen and ink, acrylic, watercolor%5D. Lessons include a sketchbook assignment, featured artist or art history, focus and discovery. Instruction by Linda Matheson, Art Educator.

Classes will NOT meet on November 25.  The fee is $70 per semester which includes all supplies.

Brazosport Symphony Orchestra is teaming up with the SPCA of Brazoria County for an amazing day ALL about animals! Mark your calendar now for an exciting day of events on Saturday, November 13.
From 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, head up to The Center for crafts and games, face-painting, an instrument "petting zoo", animals from the SPCA you can adopt on the spot, and MORE!
THEN, make plans to join us at 7:30 PM at The Clarion for BSO's concert, Animusicology, a musical tribute to animals. The concert includes Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, featuring narration by Wes Copeland!
Concert tickets are $25 for adults; $22 for seniors/veterans; $16 for students.
