For the third year running, Brazosport Fine Arts Council has welcomed artists to submit their Dia de los Muertos-themed art for a juried exhibition, Los Vivos y Los Muertos, open October 7 through November 2. Close to 40 pieces of art in a wide range of mediums make up our exhibit, created by both local artists and those from out of state.
We hosted a celebration for the artists, including an awards presentation by our juror Carlos Alexis Ordonez, ballet folklorico dancers from Angleton ISD, face painting, a flower crown craft station and refreshments.
The Facts published a feature and photos in today’s edition (10/16/25), including interviews with the two winners, the judge and our executive director Wes Copeland. Read the article and see photos at The Facts online! THEN, if you haven’t yet seen the art, swing by before the exhibit closes on Sunday, November 2!
