For the fifth year in a row, Brazosport Center Stages volunteers are gearing up for the annual spring Penguin Project production with this year’s show, Shrek the Musical JR., set to hit the stage May 8-10.
Penguin Project is a community theater program for artists ages 10-21 with special needs and same age-peer mentors. Mentors work side-by-side with their artist partners to assist throughout the rehearsal and performance process, providing all participants with the opportunity to develop creative skills related to the theater arts and perform on stage. Parents of interested artists and/or peer mentors are encouraged to fill out BOTH the Participation Form and Conflict Form as soon as possible, as rehearsals will start in February!
