The Science of Sound with Tom Wilbeck of Tom’s Fun Band

Saturday, September 24 at 2:00 PM

Join us as Mr. Tom from Tom’s Fun Band presents our first Family Science Series event of the 2022-2023 season! Aimed primarily at families with kids in kindergarten through 5th grade, this program will feature Mr. Tom, his guitar and lots of other instruments too!

Participants will learn how sound is made, how sound moves and how we hear sound. The 5 families of instruments will be used to illustrate how unique instruments still use vibrations to produce their sound. Audience members will clap, sing and chant to drive home the learning objectives and celebrate the fun when science and music collide!

Additional dates: TBA

Tickets will go on sale in advance of each date.
