As it has each December for years and years, the family-favorite planetarium show Season of Light is returning to BASF Planetarium for the Christmas season! Join us for this nostalgic Christmas fulldome show celebrating customs of the season from various cultures and exploring the question, “If the star of Bethlehem was a natural phenomenon, what might it have been?” Season of Light is wonderful for the entire family and includes a beautiful tour of the winter circle of constellations.
Visitors can see the popular show on Tuesdays (12/3, 10, 17) and the 4th Friday (12/27) at 7:00 PM in the planetarium throughout the month, as well as the last two Saturdays in December, Dec. 21 & 28, at 1:00 PM.

In addition to the FREE mid-week Wednesday Meditation program at 12:15 PM, visitors are invited to attend Friday afternoon planetarium shows at 1:00 PM, with a different show each week! The show on the 2nd Friday of the month is FREE to all attendees. Other Friday shows are FREE to Brazosport Planetarium members and $5 to non-members. Saturday planetarium activities include Star & Space Story Time at 12:30 PM, followed by family-friendly shows at 1:00 PM. See the full schedule and get tickets online.
