Brazoswood High School and homeschool seniors are displaying their art for the 16th year in a row in Brazosport Art League gallery during the Bruce Good Scholarship Show, which opens Tuesday, March 22. Exclusively featuring art by 12th grade students, the two-week exhibit allows the young artists to display the work that best represents their artistic journeys and compete for a $1,000 scholarship.
Through the duration of the show, Brazosport Art League members vote to select the recipient of the Bruce Good Scholarship, a memorial award named after the longtime Brazosport High School art teacher and ceramist. One student will be honored with the scholarship at the exhibit’s closing reception, slated for Sunday, April 3 from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM.
Don’t miss out on seeing the art of these talented students! The exhibit runs through Saturday, April 2.
Tickets to visit the gallery are free, but reservations are required and may be made online in advance or when you arrive. Hours of operation are 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
