Brazosport Symphony Orchestra’s “Legends” concert set for April 6

Join Brazosport Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, April 6 for Legends at 7:30 PM in The Clarion at Brazosport College! This concert will feature the 2024 winners of the Whit Phillips Memorial Young Artist Competition and Student Melody Challenge winners, as well as the winner of the 2024 BSO Composition Competition, Jordan Jinosko, presenting Three Sketches of Unblemished Earth.

 

Music selections will include:
• The Legend of Zelda – Koji Kondo
• “Russian Sailor’s Dance” from The Red Poppy – Reinhold Gliere
• The Magnificent Seven – Elmer Bernstein


This year’s Whit Phillips winners playing with BSO on stage include:
  • Aaron Moreno, marimba
  • Alicia White-Loza, bassoon
  • Avery Arthur, alto saxophone
  • Jacob Garza, tuba
  • Tanya Mahesh, vocal
  • Layne Kotzur, bassoon

 

Tickets are $30/adults, $22/seniors & veterans and $16 for students. Reserve your seats ASAP!
