Make plans to visit the museum on Saturday, October 12 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM as we celebrate Texas Archeology Month! Join us for archeology-related crafts and activities, perfect for the whole family, on Archeology Day. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. This event is FREE, but RSVPs are requested. RSVP NOW!
Shell lovers and beachcombers won’t want to miss the annual Sea Shell Searchers Shell Show on Friday and Saturday, October 18 & 19 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Doris Williams Civic Center, located at 333 Hwy 332 East in Lake Jackson. The two-day show is FREE and open to the public. Come enjoy the amazing shells from around the world on display!
Two events are scheduled to celebrate the efforts of volunteers who have been working for the last several months to update and refresh the museum. Celebrate our new and improved BMNS exhibits at our Museum Grand Re-Opening on Sunday, October 27 at 2:00 PM, as well as a Ribbon Cutting with the Brazosport Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, October 29 at 11:00 AM!
