Family Science Series event “Cool Chemistry” featured in The Facts

The fourth and final event in The Center’s 2021-2022 Family Science Series, Cool Chemistry, is featured in today’s newspaper (4/8) in the Entertainment Extra section. The first-ever Family Science Series aims to increase the number of science-related events offered to the community and welcome new and previous visitors to The Center.

Cool Chemistry is scheduled for Saturday, April 9 at 2:00 PM in the Dow Arena Theater.

Reporter Avery White spoke with communications manager Summer Morgan about both the series and the Cool Chemistry event coming up on Saturday.

“We really wanted to focus on science and we’ve found that people have really enjoyed it,” Morgan said. “I’m excited about this one. We’re just trying to kind of reach different areas of the population, kids especially. They’re interested in all kinds of different things, and so we’re trying to find something that will spark imaginations of these different kids, whether it’s space or ocean creatures or chemistry.”
