In addition to the new planetarium show, space lovers can join us for two upcoming events on the same weekend later in the month!
BP volunteers and representatives from the Angleton Parks & Rec department are teaming up for another Lakeside Starry Night event on Friday, April 24. View the night sky through a variety of telescopes, learn about constellations and create your own astronomy-themed crafts. Lakeside Park is located at 1234 Enchanted Oaks Drive. This event is FREE and open to the public!
Then, join us the planetarium on Saturday, April 25 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM for Spring Astronomy Day! Check out the sun with safe solar viewing through telescopes and other methods, as demonstrated by our volunteers. We will have demonstrations and activities throughout the afternoon.
