Join us for our Spring Break Spectacular, March 10-14, 2025 for a full slate of FUN, family-friendly activities! Events take place from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and are FREE (unless otherwise noted), but RSVPs are requested to help us ensure we have enough supplies. Please RSVP for the events YOU plan to attend! MONDAY, March 10 – BEGINNING ACTING WORKSHOP

Recommended ages: Elementary students in grades 1-5
Join teaching artist Bobby Britton, Jr. for a beginning acting workshop, intended specifically for students in grades 1-5. During the workshop, participants will learn the basics of pantomime, making bold active choices and character development. Participants will also have an opportunity to present their new skills at the end of the workshop.
TUESDAY, March 11 – WHAT ART MEANS TO ME

Children will be participating in a freestyle mural using their medium of choice. This is a collaborative art opportunity for all ages, so kids and parents can jump in to get creative together! Participants will be drawing, painting or collaging their interpretation of “What Art Means to Me”. Our goal is to empower our community to take the art journey!
WEDNESDAY, March 12 – KINDERMUSIK

Join us for science-themed crafts and activities in the museum and then stick around to check out our hands-on play area and our collections of shells, fossils (including dinosaurs!), rocks & minerals, wildlife and historical artifacts.
FRIDAY, March 14 – SOLAR SYSTEM CELEBRATION

We’re going to have out-of-this-world FUN with free activities, crafts, and Story Time in the lobby of the BASF Planetarium!
