Explore our solar system in October at BASF Planetarium!

Brazosport Planetarium’s new October show is Artemis: Forward to the Moon, slated for 7:00 PM on Tuesdays (10/4, 11, 18 & 25) throughout the month in BASF Planetarium.

Kari Byron from Crash Test World and MythBusters launches us on a journey beyond the Earth towards a sustainable future in space. NASA’s 21st century Artemis program, named after the Greek moon Goddess and twin of Apollo, is the next step in our mission to explore the universe and land the first woman and person of color on the surface of the Moon.

Family-friendly shows are slated for 1:00 PM each Saturday. This month’s shows are: Earth, Moon & Sun (10/1), Perfect Little Planet (10/8), Astronaut (10/15), Dawn of the Space Age (10/22) and To Worlds Beyond: Journey to the Solar System (10/29).

The monthly Spanish show is set for Thursday, October 27 at 7:00 PM and will be “Hermanos Excepcionales: Venus, La Tierra y Marte”.

Tickets to all shows are free to planetarium members; non-member tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.
