Brazosport Center Stages will be holding two Penguin Project information meetings for young artists, peer mentors and parents at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, January 10 and Thursday, January 12!
Penguin Project provides an opportunity for children with special needs (ages 10-21) to develop creative skills related to the theater arts and participate in community theater. It also serves to facilitate joint participation between young artists with special needs and same-age peers through a community theater experience. Peer mentors work side-by-side with their artist partners and assist throughout the rehearsal and performance process.
Through generous support from The Community Foundation of Brazoria County’s Lowrey Community Service Grant and Olin, BCS Penguin Project is proud to offer this amazing program again this year!
