More than 750 votes were cast by gallery visitors between March 25 and April 24 during Brazosport Art League’s annual People’s Choice exhibit. Featuring art by BAL members, visitors to the gallery were invited to vote for their two favorite pieces of art.
The following winners were announced at a reception and awards ceremony on Friday, April 25:
1st Place: Rodney D. Butler, “Me in a Box”
2nd Place: Robert Ruhmann, “Hill Country Creek Bed”
3rd Place: Dorothy Babbington,”Wait For It”
Honorable Mention: Sherry Hall Shelton, “Ole John”
