Local kids will be out of school for Spring Break soon, so we’re gearing up for a wide range of activities and programs at The Center to keep everybody entertained!
Join us Tuesday through Friday, March 14-17, for Spring into Action for different events each day! Click the dates below for tickets!
Here’s the schedule:
- Tuesday, March 14
- “Spring Into Shakespeare” workshop instructed by Wes Copeland, hosted by Brazosport Center Stages
- Puppets, Shakespearean insults and safe stage combat will all be a part of this interactive workshop! Participants will receive an introduction to Shakespeare on stage in a fun and active way.
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Open to kids in 4th -7th grades; limited to 25 participants
- Registration is $5 per participant.
- Wednesday, March 15
- “The Accidental Astronauts” planetarium show in BASF Planetarium, plus activities and coloring pages, hosted by BASF Planetarium
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Limited to 65 participants; open to all ages
- Registration is $5 per person.
- Thursday, March 16
- Watercolor card painting; card designs will include spring florals and beach themes, fish & crabs, hosted by Brazosport Art League
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- FREE – come & go event, but RSVPs are requested to help us ensure adequate supplies!
- Friday, March 17
- St. Patrick’s Day FUN with St. Patrick’s themed experiments, activities and a Center-wide treasure hunt for a pot of gold, hosted by Brazosport Museum of Natural Science
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- FREE – come & go event!
