Celebrating the history of Texas and the 50th Anniversary of the iconic “Texas Country Reporter”, this concert features Texas-themed music, film scores, classical works and more through stories told by TCR hosts Bob and Kelli Phillips.
Texas composer David Lovrien composed the original orchestral underscore that will be performed by BSO to accompany the narrated chapters on Texas history, culture and humor. BSO will play additional pieces to supplement the TCR repertoire, including The Cowboys Overture by John Williams and the world premiere of a surprise piece with local connections!
