Brazosport Fine Arts Council is presenting four events during the 2021-2022 season as part of our Family Science Series! The first event is Bugs on Wheels: Amazing Arthropods, scheduled for Saturday, September 18. There are three presentations available — at 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM — with spots for 30 people in each session.
Live tarantulas, giant millipedes, docile hissing cockroaches, stunning walking sticks and much more will amaze audiences in this hands-on, interactive presentation. Staff from the Cockrell Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural Science will be bringing a selection of living insects and other arthropods to The Center.
Attendees of all ages will have a rare opportunity to meet the most unusual members of the insect world while learning about their native habitats and unique adaptations for survival.
Tickets are available on a “pay what you can” basis. Purchase your tickets online at the link below or call the Box Office at 979-265-7661 during regular business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday).
Bring your kids, nieces, nephews, neighbors and grandchildren to see these AMAZING ARTHROPODS live and in person at The Center!
