For many years now, Brazosport Symphony Orchestra has recognized the talents of young area musicians with the Whit Phillips Memorial Young Artist Competition and Student Melody Challenge. Winners of these two contests are invited to participate in one of the BSO’s spring concerts to show off their musical chops.
