Catch the brand new May planetarium show, Legends of the Sun, Moon and Eclipse on Tuesdays (5/2, 9, 16, 23 & 30) and the 4th Friday (5/26) this month in BASF Planetarium. Ancient cultures told legends regarding the sun, moon, and eclipse, as they attempted to explain and understand celestial phenomena.
Visit on Saturdays at 1:00 PM for family-friendly weekend planetarium shows, including: Dawn of the Space Age (May 6), Earth, Moon & Sun (May 13), Perfect Little Planet (May 20) and Accidental Astronauts (May 27).
Join us Saturday, May 6 for a free Star & Space Story Time at 12:30 in the BASF Planetarium lobby, before the planetarium show starts. We’ll be reading Zoo in the Sky: A Book of Animal Constellations, which introduces astronomy concepts like stars and constellations to preschool and early elementary-age children.
Finally, join us on Thursday, May 25 at 7:00 PM for the ALL- Spanish, family-friendly planetarium show “Astronautas Accidentales”.
Tickets to planetarium shows are FREE to planetarium members. Non-member tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children. Purchase tickets here!
