Science Café: Hot Science with Frozen Sensors

Join BASF Planetarium and featured speaker Joe Fowler for “Hot Science with Frozen Sensors” presentation on Friday, August 4 at 7:00 PM in the planetarium. During this presentation, Joe will discuss how superconducting light detectors are measuring the early universe, what’s special about low temperatures, gamma rays from the Big Bang and how these things affect all of us daily.
Science Café is a social, adults only (21+) event. Tickets are $15 per person and include great science, snacks and refreshments.
