Shakespeare & Voice Workshop with John Feltch

Join us for Shakespeare and Voice with John Feltch on Saturday, May 28 from 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM at The Center!

Prepare for Elizabethan Madrigal Feast and Shakespeare in the Glen auditions with master actor and instructor John Feltch. Feltch is a professional actor with extensive experience teaching actors to get the most out of classic texts, such as Shakespeare.

The workshop will involve equal parts of highly physical work to help participants discover the full possibilities of their unique voices AND the examination of a Shakespeare sonnet to make emotional connections to the text.

Feltch asks that each participant choose a sonnet in advance and memorize it prior to the workshop. Additionally, students should wear athletic or loose-fitting clothing, as participants will be very active for part of the session.

Registration is $20 for adults and $15 for students ages 16 through college. Registration for workshop includes lunch provided by The Center.
