Brazosport Center Stages & Brazosport College Theatre’s co-produced “She Kills Monsters” featured in The Facts

Brazosport Center Stages and Brazosport College Theatre Department have teamed up to produce She Kills Monsters, which opens tomorrow night and is slated to run November 4-6 & 11-13 in The Center’s Freeport LNG Theater. The Facts published a preview feature about the play, “Secrets revealed in story of young adventurer”, which includes interviews with director Michael McIntosh and several actors, as well as photos from a recent rehearsal.

Tickets on sale & cast announced for “She Kills Monsters”

Brazosport Center Stages and Brazosport College Theatre Department are co-producing the upcoming She Kills Monsters, slated for November 4-6 & 11-13 in The Center’s Freeport LNG Theater.
Tickets are $22 for adults and $16 for students. Brazosport College students & staff receive FREE admission.
Viewer discretion is advised: This show is intended for mature audiences and may not be appropriate for children under 13. It contains adult situations, cartoon violence, bigoted language, brief depictions of drug use and swear words. The show also features strobe lighting effects, sudden loud noises and the use of theatrical fog.

ABOUT THE SHOW: After the death of her teenage sister Tilly, Agnes discovers her sister’s unplayed “Dungeon and Dragons” campaign. She enters the imaginary world she used to mock and never knew existed during her younger sister’s life. An action packed adventure filled with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and ’90’s pop culture sure to offer a heart pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.

“She Kills Monsters” auditions set for September 19-21

Brazosport Center Stages and Brazosport College Theatre department are holding auditions for She Kills Monsters on Monday through Wednesday, September 19, 20 & 21 at 6:00 PM in Brazosport College’s Seidule Theatre.
 
If you are interested in auditioning, please fill out the audition form. Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to move. After a brief, fun movement exercise, we will read sides from the script.
 
Rehearsals are slated for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 6:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM, from September 26 through November 3. Not every actor will be called to every rehearsal. Performance dates are November 4-6 & 11-13 in the Freeport LNG Theater at The Center.
