“So You Want To Be a Dinosaur Hunter” program set for Sunday, May 7

Join Brazosport Museum of Natural Science for its So You Want To Be a Dinosaur Hunter? program on Sunday, May 7 at 3:00 PM with BMNS paleontology curator Brian Miles!

Every year, paleontologists and dinosaur collectors visit large ranches across the western United States, looking for fossils. Come hear Brian’s story about the large Triceratops femur he discovered on a ranch in South Dakota!

Find out how dinosaurs actually get from the field to the museum and how people (and families) can do their own hunting for dinosaur, fossil, rocks and minerals, as well as where to meet people with similar interests!

This program is FREE and open to the public. RSVP online, via phone (979-265-7661) or at the door when you arrive!
