All around the world, people and organizations are stepping up TODAY to unleash generosity and make an impact in their communities and beyond on #GivingTuesday! The Center for the Arts & Sciences has been providing quality arts and sciences programs to the members of our community and visitors to our area since we opened as a non-profit organization in 1976. For 45 years, we have offered a place for budding artists, theater lovers, future scientists, space fanatics and music aficionados to create, explore and dream. You can support our mission on this #GivingTuesday in the following ways: 1. Purchase tickets and attend our New Year’s Eve fundraiser, Bet on the Arts Casino Night & Gala, slated for 8:00 PM – 12:30 AM on Friday, December 31 at Courtyard by Marriott – Lake Jackson! We’re going to ring in 2022 together and party the night away with heavy hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, casino games, a DJ and dance floor, photo booth, silent auction, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. 2. Secure a sponsorship for our upcoming Bet on the Arts Casino Night & Gala. Sponsorships include event tickets, naming opportunities and recognition in promotional materials and signage (based on sponsorship level). 3. Make a year-end gift to The Center’s Building & Operations Fund, which allows us to provide facilities free of charge to our partner groups AND promote vibrant and culturally enriching art & science programs in our community. #GivingTuesday is the generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to change their communities. In 2021, Giving Tuesday falls on November 30.

This year, we’d ask you to consider financially supporting The Center in one of two ways.

Sponsor our upcoming New Year’s Eve fundraiser, Bet on the Arts Casino Night & Gala, and/or purchase individual tickets. Your support and attendance helps us carry on our mission of providing quality arts & science programs in our community.

If you can’t make it to our New Year’s Eve party, you can STILL support The Center with your tax deductible donation to our Building and Operations Fund.

The Center provides facilities free of charge to our Partner Groups, which include Brazosport Art League, Brazosport Center Stages, Brazosport Museum of Natural Science, Brazosport Planetarium at BASF Planetarium and Brazosport Symphony Orchestra. By donating to The Center, you are ensuring that we are able to provide the support necessary for our Partner Groups to continue their missions.
