Brazosport Art League is opening a new gallery exhibit, Texas Heat, just in time for summer! The show features pieces in various mediums from close to 20 female artists, all members of the Women’s Caucus for Art of Texas. The exhibit runs Tuesday, June 6 through Sunday, July 2.
A reception to celebrate the artists and their work is slated for Friday, June 9 from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM. Members of the community are invited to attend this free event to meet the artists, see the exhibit and enjoy refreshments.
BAL chairman Ron White said members of the league have been looking forward to the show since it was first planned.
“We’re very excited about the Texas Heat exhibit opening in the gallery,” he said. “This is a very diverse group of women artists. We hope members of our community will come see the show and support these talented artists and their work.”
