Brazosport Art League features artist Adalia Maudlin in “Retrospective” exhibit

A new exhibit, Retrospective by local artist Adalia Maudlin, opens this week in Brazosport Art League gallery! See her lovely paintings using various mediums now through Saturday, August 6. Join Adalia, friends & family, and BAL members at the show’s Opening Reception, Friday, July 8 from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM in the gallery.

 

ABOUT THE ARTIST:  Adalia has lived in the Brazosport area since 1963. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Stephen F Austin University and is a retired school teacher. Adalia is married to Valroy Maudlin and they have two children and one grandchild. Drawing has always been a passion, as well as watercolor, oil and other mediums. The exhibit is a retrospective look at her art.

 

Tickets to visit the gallery are free, but reservations are required and can be made in advance online or when you arrive. Hours of operation are 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.

The Facts features new Brazosport Art League exhibit, “Animalia: Beyond the Jungle”

The Facts featured Brazosport Art League’s newest gallery exhibit, “Animalia: Beyond the Jungle”, and the show’s contributing artists Doug Hiser and Jim Phillips in Wednesday’s (2/23) paper. The article, “Long-time friends collaborate on art show”, includes interviews with both artists about their work and several photos from the artists’ opening week reception, held last Friday, February 18.
