Brazosport Art League opens “Moments in Time” by Dana Moody Stevens

Brazosport Art League is opening a new exhibit in the gallery this week, Moments in Time by artist and BAL member Dana Moody Stevens, featuring paintings in various mediums and several sculptures. An opening week reception is scheduled for Friday, January 20 from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM in the gallery.

About the artist:

Dana has had a passion for art since high school.  She received a scholarship to the Art Institute of Houston in 1982 and has also won many state and national awards.  At the age of 23, Dana became legally blind but continued to pursue her art.

Her faith in God has pulled her through both good and bad times, as several of her pictures show.  She invites you to enjoy her art and feel an emotional connection to her art and God.

The show will run through Sunday, February 12. Tickets to the gallery are FREE, but reservations are required and can be made when you arrive or in advance online. Hours of operation are 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Sunday.
