Brazosport Symphony Orchestra has been making beautiful music in Brazosport for 40 years and will be celebrating its anniversary at the upcoming concert, “Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6”, on Sunday, November 6 at 4:00 PM in The Clarion at Brazosport College. The Facts previews Brazosport Museum of Natural Science’s upcoming Slime Day

The Facts has published a preview of Brazosport Museum of Natural Science’s always-popular family event, Slime Day, in today’s (10/28) edition. Slime Day is slated from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 29. Attendees will investigate and make slime…and explore a slimy witches’ brew!

This event is FREE and open to the public, but RSVPS are limited to the first 75 people to register.



Brazosport Center Stages’ Original Documentary Project featured in The Facts

Brazosport Center Stages is in the early stages of putting together a first-of-its-kind production for the theater group, known as the Original Documentary Project. Directed by longtime BCS actor and volunteer Bobby Britton Jr., the project will begin this year and culminate with performances next season.

Brazosport Museum of Natural Science’s Hurricane Carla program featured in The Facts

Close to 100 people attended Brazosport Museum of Natural Science’s Hurricane Carla 61st Anniversary event on Sunday, September 11 to commemorate the day the Category-4 storm hit the Texas coast. The program included a 25-minute narrated film of never-before-seen footage shot from a helicopter and on the ground of the devastation the hurricane caused. Attendees took turns sharing their memories of the storm.

The Facts features Brazosport Center Stages’ “Steel Magnolias”

Brazosport Center Stages’ first play of the 2022-2023 season, “Steel Magnolias”, opens this Friday, September 9. The production is featured on the front page of today’s (9/8) edition of The Facts and includes interviews with the director (Rachael Welsh), producer (Callie Ayers) and several actors. The show runs September 9-11 & 15-18. Opening weekend shows are almost sold out, but there are tickets to the second weekend shows available.

Brazosport Museum of Natural Science’s upcoming Hurricane Carla event featured in The Facts

September 11 marks the 61st anniversary of the day one of the 20th century’s most destructive storms, Hurricane Carla, pummeled the Texas coast. Brazosport Museum of Natural Science is commemorating the day with a program on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 5:30 PM in the museum, which was featured today (9/7) in The Facts.
