Cure for the Christmas Chaos: Space Cookie Decorating

Join us at BASF Planetarium on Friday, December 22 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM for some delicious family fun! We’ll be decorating space cookies and offering other hands-on activities.

This event is FREE but an RSVP is requested. RSVP NOW!

Attendees are also invited to purchase tickets to our classic holiday planetarium show, “Season of Light”, starting at 1:00 PM. Tickets are $5 per person. Purchase tickets NOW!

Kids will be out of school the entire week before Christmas…and we all know it’s going to get CHAOTIC. Local parents are in luck because we’ve got the cure!

Join us Monday through Thursday, December 19 – 22, for A Cure for the Christmas Chaos at The Center for different shows and activities sponsored by our programs each day! Click the dates below for tickets!

    • TICKETS: $5/adults & $3 children
  • Tuesday, December 20: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
    • “A Fun Band Family Christmas” with Tom’s Fun Band in the Dow Arena Theater (sponsored by Brazosport Fine Arts Council)
    • Join us for Christmas music and shenanigans with Tom & friends and get ready to SING ALONG!
    • TICKETS: Pay what you can (suggested $5 per person)
  • Wednesday, December 21: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
    • “Lil’ Man Saves Christmas” presented by The Ensemble Theater in partnership with Young Audiences of Houston, in the Freeport LNG Theater (sponsored by Brazosport Center Stages)
    • When it becomes clear that his mom and sister won’t get their Christmas wish, Lil’ Man enlists the help of Santa’s wild elves to make sure the holidays are once again merry and bright. A play with music, silly elves and a lot of heart, “Lil’ Man Saves Christmas” reminds us that achieving your dreams takes community and courage and sometimes a little magic from old St. Nick!

    • Christmas activities & crafts with Brazosport Museum of Natural Science & Brazosport Art League (FREE, but RSVPs are requested!)
