Sea Shell Searchers Club Meeting

Join the Sea Shell Searchers Club of Brazoria County for its monthly spring meetings at 2:00 PM on the first Saturday of each month in Brazosport Museum of Natural Science! Program titles and speakers will vary monthly.

Spring schedule:

  • January 6 – Speaker: Dave Green, “Shells of the Solomon Islands”
  • February 3 – Speaker: Kelly Drinnan from NOAA’s Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary; Kelly will be discussing the lionfish invasion in the Gulf of Mexico and the program will include a lionfish dissection.
  • March 2 – CANCELLED
  • April 6 – Speaker: Dave Green from Missouri City, “Beauties of the Deep”, a photographic collection of sealife

Slime Day set for October 28 at Brazosport Museum of Natural Science

IT’S ALMOST SLIME TIME!
Join us at Brazosport Museum of Natural Science on Saturday, October 28 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM for SLIME DAY! This year, Slime Day is focusing slimy creatures – snails, slugs & worms – including hands-on activities, painting and crafts!
Children must be accompanied by an adult. This event is open to the public and admission is FREE, but an RSVP is requested.
